The Role

You call small and mid-sized businesses in Western Canada (BC and Alberta) and book short intro meetings between the person in charge of their employee benefits plan and our advisor. You are not selling insurance — you're booking a 30-minute conversation. A full operations manual, proven script and objection responses are provided.

Our clients tell us they stay with BeneCare for three things: sustainable rate savings, clarity in their coverage (no surprises at claim time), and an advisor who responds quickly, is patient, and acts in their best interest. Your call is a prospect's first taste of that experience — every call should sound like it.

This job is two jobs, and we value them equally:

Calling (the visible half): friendly, unhurried cold calls during Pacific/Mountain business hours — gatekeepers, decision makers, objections, and booking meetings via Calendly.

•   Research & data (the hidden half): verifying phone numbers and decision makers on company websites, enriching new lists before dialing, and keeping meticulous dated notes in our spreadsheet. The first pass through any new list is mostly cleanup — that is expected, and it's exactly why we pay by the hour, not per call.

YOU’RE A FIT IF:

  • Your spoken English is fluent and natural — you sound like a friendly colleague, not a script reader.

  • You're meticulous: every dial logged the moment you hang up, dates as YYYY-MM-DD, notes a stranger could pick up and continue from.

  • You're patient and steady — you'd rather build clean data and 3–6 solid meetings a week than burn through a list for volume.

  • You're honest on the phone: comfortable saying “good question — that's exactly what the meeting is for” instead of bluffing.

  • You want one long-term client and are reliably available during Canadian business hours.

YOU’RE NOT A FIT IF:

  • You're paid-per-call minded: maximum dials, minimum notes, next gig.

  • You find the research/data-entry half of the work beneath you.

  • Your style is pressure, exaggeration, or arguing past a “no.”

How to apply

Don't send a resume — send a short video (2–3 minutes). Introduce yourself, tell us about your calling and research experience, and speak to us the way you'd speak to a business owner on a Tuesday morning. Then, so we know you actually read this page, finish your video by telling us the three things our clients say they stay with us for. Videos that skip that last part won't be considered — attention to detail is the job.

THE ONE NON-NEGOTIABLE

You are BeneCare to every person you reach. Protecting the brand outranks any single meeting: courteous, honest, zero pressure, on every call. “Don't call again” is honoured forever. If a call turns sour, exit politely and log it.

What we provide

A complete operations manual with scripts and objection handling, a researched call list, spreadsheet conventions, Calendly for booking, and regular debriefs and coaching directly with the principal. We invest in one caller who gets better every month.

What success looks like

First two weeks: list enriched, script comfortable in your own words. Steady state: 100–150 dials a day, 15–25 real decision-maker conversations, 3–6 booked meetings a week — and a spreadsheet that's always current. Meetings booked and data quality are what we measure; dials are just how you get there.
